ReplyDeleteI am a Muslimah from America .
The following are the gems from the “How does he do it” interveiw of Ustadh Muhammad Alshareef , who has the personality we can all look up to , masha Allah tabarak Allah . It should be noted here that as Muslims , it is very essential for us to prepare for our next life before our souls are taken . Therefore we must take what Ustadh Muhammad said to heart and let this knowledge enter our body , not just our ears . We all never want to be in the position of the loser that will say on the day of judgement , “ He will say, ‘ Oh , I wish I prepared for my (eternal) life .’ ” (Qur’an 089.024)
Ustadh Muhammad said ( not the exact words ) :
• Start your day at Fajr time if you want baraka in your time , for the Prophet (S) made dua to Allah , “ Oh Allah , bless my Ummah in the morning .”
• If you slept late at night , then you should still wake up for Fajr . Then you may go to sleep after that so that your body would be able to recover until noon time .
• Make your five Salawaat your number 1 priority in your day . Plan your other tasks around your Salah , not the other way around .
• There is a misunderstanding among Muslims that qaylula is done from Dhuhr Salah to Asr Salah , whereas it only needs to be a 20 to 30 minute nap . A person does not absolutely have to do qaylula every single day .
• If you didn’t sleep after Fajr , then your body will naturally put you into qaylula so that it will be able to refresh .

ReplyDelete• It is extremely important for the men to pray in the Masjid . This will cause them to become more puntual about their time and the things they have to get done . The Salah creates like a time frame for them so that they can get things done on time .
• If you are planning to undertake a task , it is best to get every thing off of your mind on to your journel first .
• If you don’t dump all the garbage from your brain first , then you won’t ever be able to stay consistent in pursuing your goals because of the nasty stuff that will still be polluting your brain .
• When ever something crosses your mind and you know that it’s not urgent , then immedietly write it down in your journel so that you can deal with it when it’s time comes .
• Now that you are left with an empty brain , the next step is to get a vision that excites you and energizes you .
• Take your time to figure out what matters most to you rather than what you deem as urgent . Now that you painted a vision in your mind , you can take the wise steps in achieving your goals ( obviously nothing haram , insha Allah) .
• The reason why some people keep impossible goals instead of medium goals in their minds is because they don’t want to crawl before they walk .They like to live with wishfull thinking , which is a charecteristic of the munafiqeen .
• The woman that takes care of her children must keep in mind that her children that she is raising properly will be the legacy that she will leave behind after her death . She should not think that her time is being wasted .
• A mother is the leader for her children .
Continued :
ReplyDelete• A women should have a goal of what maqaam she wants before Allah Ta’laa for herself and for her family in this life and in the next . She must then work towards this goal of hers .
• The women need to show flexible behavior when it comes to her personal goals and her family . Using great hikmah would work for her insha Allah, when she is deciding and when to compromise and when not to compromise .
Continued :
ReplyDelete• If you plan for the next ten years and only achieve some of it before your death , then you must know that you don’t need to worry about what you don’t have control over . Don’t underestimate the reward of making a good intention . Allah knows that you made the good intention and so you will be rewarded for that .
• When a person pre plans , they must not leave the things that are attached to their Deen for the next ten years and their enjoyment first and foremost . Your nearness to Allah comes first before anything in your life .
Continued :
ReplyDelete• You should have only the things that are important and the things that you want to do with all your heart in your life . So in that case if an emergency arises , you won’t have a problem taking care of it and you won’t feel over burdened with urgent stuff .
• Real leaders do things that ordinary people don’t usually do .
• The “ Time Traveller ” set is something that will push you towards into the totally mastering your time and living your dreams insha Allah Ta’aala .
May Allah Ta’aala reward Ustadh Muhammad for his hard work and dedication to benefiting the Ummah with the things that they are very much in need of . Amin Ya Samee .

ReplyDeleteJazakum Allah Khair,
I missed the interview, and it is 10 times faster to read the notes then listening to a lecture.
@M. Alshareef : Maybe now that we got the generalities of time management, do you think you can further subdivide into some mini-crashcourses on; schoolwork, career, islamic knowledge studying, family time, dawah, etc... with everyone's role in mind. Just an idea.

ReplyDeletePlease give us tips on how effectively to remove the fluff from our brains without recurring thoughts.

I just want it to share this with you and every one who access your blog .... when people think that their problems in this world are so huge, remind themself of those less fortunate than themself who are grateful for all the blessings they have been given.
Make du'a please for this wonderful girl.
A little girl named Al`brah
This story is of a little girl named Bar`ah who is 10 years old, her parents were doctors who moved to Saudi Arabia in search of better life.
At this age, Bar`ah memorized the whole Quran with tajweed, she was very intelligent, her teacher use to tell her she should be in middle school not primary school.
Her family was small and committed to Islam and its teachings.... suddenly one day the mother started feeling sever abdominal pain, after tests and checkups she found out that she has cancer, but in its late stages.
The mother thought she should tell her daughter, specially if she wakes up one day and didn't find her mother beside her... so she told her: "Bar`ah I will go to paradise ahead of you, but I want you to read the Quran you memorized every day since it will protect you in this life..."
The little girl didn't really understand what her mother was trying to tell her... but she started feeling the change in her mother's status, especially when she was transferred to stay in hospital on a permanent bases. The little girl use to come to the hospital after her school and recite the Quran for her mother till the evening when her father used to take her home.
One day the hospital called the husband and informed him that the his wife's condition was very bad and he needed to come as fast as he can, so the father picked Bar`ah from her school and headed to the hospital, when they arrived he asked her to stay in the car... so that she wouldn't get shocked if her mother passed away.
The father got out of his car, with tears filled in his eyes and while crossing the road to enter the hospital, he was hit by a speeding car and died in front of his daughter who came crying to her father...!
The tragedy of Bar`ah is not over yet... the news of her father's death was hidden from the mother, but after 5 days the mother passed away leaving Bar`ah alone in this life. She become alone without her parents, and her parents' friends decided to find her relatives in Egypt so that they can take care of her.
Suddenly, Bar`ah started having sever pain like her mother, after a few tests and checkups it was confirmed it was cancer... at the surprise of every one she said: "Alhamdu Lillah, now I will meet my parents."
All of the family friends were shocked and surprised, this little girl being faced with calamity after calamity and she is patient and satisfied with what Allah ordained for her!
People started hearing about Bar`ah and her story, and a Saudi decided to take care of her... he sent her to the UK for treatment of this disease.
One of the Islamic channels (Al Hafiz - The protector) got in contact with this little girl and asked her to recite the Quran... and this is her beautiful voice with recitation...

The days passed by and the cancer spread all over her body, the doctors decided to amputate her legs, and she is patient and satisfied with Allah's ordains... after a few days the CANCER spread to her brain, upon which doctors decided for another urgent brain surgery... and now her body is in a UK hospital in full COMA...
